R.H. Quaytman

R.H. Quaytman (born 1961, Boston) is a painter living in New York City.

Biography

Quaytman received a B.A. in painting from Bard College. In 1989 she was invited to the [[Institut Hautes Etudes en Arts Plastiques in Paris to study with Daniel Buren and Pontus Hultén.[1] Quaytman was a recipient of the Rome Prize Fellowship in 1992.[2] She was a founding member and the Director of a cooperative gallery in Manhattan’s Lower East Side called Orchard. Quaytman is represented by Miguel Abreu Gallery and Vilma Gold Gallery in London.[3]

Quaytman's work is in the Museum of Modern Art.[4]
